This is Malala, one of the single most influential people of our times. She has spoken out for girls education and against poverty and oppression that they must endure globally. She has been awarded the prestigious Nobel Peace prize. She has somehow overcome great personal hardships and survived her wounds to not only make herself better but make this world better for everyone. Her strength resonates in her speeches, in her tone, in her words and in her determination to make this world into a better place not only for all the girls, but for all the children in the world, cause like us, she knows, that they deserve a better future than the one we are giving them now. She has stood up in the United Nations council and spoken, written a book, and is determined to finish her degree despite threats to her life and against all odds.
She stands as a beckon of hope for everyone! That is why she should be honored and celebrated. It is in children, in the youth, that hold the burning flame of hope and a better world. It is the ugly face of poverty and greed with in us that is the true one and only enemy. And it will be our deeds that define us and who we are as a society and as individuals and not how much wealth or money or power we have...
