Congratulations on this marvellous painting being FEATURED in “PAINTING THE OLD WAY” , previously known as BEST REPRESENTATIONAL OIL ACRYLIC WATERCOLOUR PAINTINGS OF FAA! L….group administrator, John Malone

Conor Murphy replied:

Thanks John for the Feature,

Beautiful image and interesting description. I do however feel very sorry for the dog but I guess "its a dog's life" after all. I hope the medicinal use of the Mandrake makes it worth it. Perhaps if you tied a couple mandrake roots to one dog it would save dogs.

Conor Murphy replied:

Thank you Michael for these kind words and also for the feature on your great group.

Saw your wonderful image featured on Myths and legends, congratulations F & V ... fellow member, Elaine

Soft soft and sweet. VOTED.

I have reduced the Original Price Today, July 26th 2012 $200.00 Plus S/H

Very nice work congratulations.

Fantastic, as if it would dance right off the canvas.

What to say after so many previous comments, a wonderful idea, Ante

Read the description... like the legend and like so much your visual interpretation of it... So l did't loose my mind... :) ... Ana

l really see a nude lady dancing here... loosing my mind or what ?... Ana

Very interesting, very human, unusual artwork, Conor!!!

very funny mandrake! I like it! super!

This is very creative and unique Conor. It combines the yin (spiritual side and in your tale the breaking free), and yang (rooted to the earth) beautifully.

Such a lovely painting with a wonderful tale to go along with it.

Very interesting story Conor.....while I digest it........let me say, this was beautifully done............Ewan

I've heard about these ... but never seen one ... and don't recall hearing your legend .. wow ... as a dog lover, that is a sad one, isn't it??? Great, great image ... love the soft tones!!!!!

I will try to not think about the Irish story. -

Conor, I like all of your work. This is another outstanding one. I like the textures that you incorporate into your paintings. Shine on, Anne
