This map is an original insert from a programme for the British Exhibition held at Wembley in London in 1924 and opened by King George V. It includes the oval image of the former and world-renowned Wembley Stadium which had the iconic twin towers at the entrance and which was replaced by the current building in 2007.There is a map of the underground and other railways for access to the site, this outline preceding the current version which originated in 1931. The delightful double-decker buses of the era are also in evidence.
