I was hoping to make sure that the photo being framed was the black and white dog and not the photo of the sunrise shown here. Thank you!

Really disappointed Great piece of art however the frame was damaged in transit Over 4 weeks since delivery and no meaningful response from Fine Art to resolve the problem Have other pieces to order in my basket but just skeptical that they will arrive in good condition and that customer service will actually do anything other than the occasional email to say they are looking into it

We love this print. Our own Scottie, Claire, lays like this all the time which is why we purchased the print.

Love our print. However disappointed for the price point that the glass is not glare free!

Beautiful picture and the framing was well done. We are very happy with our purchase.

Artist's Description

Mars Express booster rocket, artwork. This European Space Agency (ESA) spacecraft was launched on 2 June 2003. A Soyuz-FG rocket placed it and its Fregat booster (yellow tanks) in a parking orbit around the Earth. This Fregat booster is being used here, a few hours after launch, to place the spacecraft on its interplanetary trajectory to Mars (upper right). The solar panels were deployed after separation from the Fregat booster. Mars Express, the ESA's first Mars mission, arrived at Mars in December 2003. Since then, it has extensively mapped Mars, transmitting data back to Earth. The mission has since been extended to at least 2014.

About David Ducros

Science Photo Library was founded in 1981 by Michael Marten, one of the authors of "Worlds Within Worlds", a book exploring different ways to observe the universe - from electron micrographs, to images of earthrise taken from the Apollo spacecraft. When Marten started receiving requests for the beautiful images in the book, he had an idea of setting up Science Photo Library. Since then, Science Photo Library has continued to work alongside world acclaimed photographers and the leading science and medical experts to provide a central source of the best science and specialist imagery available. Although the collection started with scientific images, it has grown to encompass all aspects of science and their impact on everyday life.
