... A gorgeous sunset
with beautiful reflections
is captured here
on Lake Jackson in South Florida
near the middle
of the state in Sebring.
The docks are long, reaching out
into the marina harbor marsh
through the tropical grasses.
The water is clear and clean,
home to large mouthed bass
and other freshwater fish.
The lake is used for fishing,
boating, and waterskiing
and is lined with lovely waterfront homes
and private docks and gazebos.
This wooden dock glows
in the early evening sunlight
and colors of the sunset.
A patriotic touch of the American flag
dances happily
in the light breeze
in the late summer...
