Absolutely loved my print. The depth and details are spectacular and the quality of the print is fantastic. I framed this in a white frame and didn't have the exact size handy so kept the lower space intentionally open. I love how it came out.

I bought this for a friend who lived in France for many years. Now that she is back in the states she misses France her favorite country. When I spoke with her on the phone she absolutely loved it. It showed all the places she lived or visited. She loved that it had an antique flair. She is getting it framed when she can. This my gift for her to bring up her spirits. She has stage 4 cancer. We live in 2 different cities & are comrades & would do anything for each other. When I saw it in the website I knew I had to buy it. Great work. On a Sunday in June of 2008 in the walled city of Lucca, Italy, the local antique auto and motorcycle club roared into The Piazza Anfiteatro for refreshment and conversation after a day of riding the country roads of Tuscany. Us lucky motorcycle enthusiasts were at the right place at the right time. This self portrait and reflection of the one-time Roman Stadium was inspired by a reflected image in the fuel tank of a wonderfully restored 1943 350cc ‘Matchless’ motorcycle. www.normanbean.carbonmade.com

It always amazes me .... everything our eyes see is reflected light (photons bouncing toward our face). By way of a biological electro-chemical miracle this sensitive visual system transfers information to the brain, the home of the 'Phantom Captain,' where depth, detail, contrast, texture, color, shadow, light, perspective, point of view and everything you can discern, all come together as Reality. In creating a work of art the Artist seeks to trick other Phantom Captains into believing that a flat piece of paper has depth and dimensions.
