Loved everything about this picture. Captures the whole spirit of the Delmar Loop, while encompassing so many dramatic colors that it feels just like it looks, an electrified night, beckoning you in.
To keep us safe and keep those who would jump or throw objects off, a maze of vertical fence posts line the pathway of the latest in urban architectural design, the pedestrian cross-over. While eating lunch one day, I captured this lone prisoner making her way up and over a busy intersection. One after another, I watched people slowly zigzag their way up the concrete hill to the other side of no where; amazed at the sight of how humanity willingly becomes captive like a rat, just to cross the road. The metaphors this crazy sight represents blows my mind, now crossing a highway is like going to the gym.
