I was hoping to make sure that the photo being framed was the black and white dog and not the photo of the sunrise shown here. Thank you!

Really disappointed Great piece of art however the frame was damaged in transit Over 4 weeks since delivery and no meaningful response from Fine Art to resolve the problem Have other pieces to order in my basket but just skeptical that they will arrive in good condition and that customer service will actually do anything other than the occasional email to say they are looking into it

We love this print. Our own Scottie, Claire, lays like this all the time which is why we purchased the print.

Love our print. However disappointed for the price point that the glass is not glare free!

Beautiful picture and the framing was well done. We are very happy with our purchase.

Artist's Description

MCCONKEY FERRY INN mcconkeys-imgThe Baker family built the first ferry on this site, one of many Delaware River ferry sites in Bucks County. The Bakers sold the ferry business to Samuel McConkey, who was the owner in 1776. The first ferry building was built in 1752, but only the basement kitchen remains. The current inn was built in several stages; the west side, the one farthest from the river, was built around 1790 and includes the original basement. The building represents a typical country inn or tavern of the Revolutionary era and suggests the variety of amenities that would have been available to the traveler at that time. During the Continental army’s stay in Bucks County in December 1776, the inn and the nearby ferry launch site were closely guarded by the troops. At McConkey’s Ferry on December 25, 1776, Washington wrote to Colonel Cadwalader, “I am determined as the night is favorable to cross the River . . .”

About Tom Gari Gallery-Three-Photography

My wife and I love to travel the back roads of the East Coast and discover the hidden gems Americ a has to offer. We are always looking for someplace new, to see and experience new things. I like to present my unique view thru photography and try to convey the sight and feeling that inspired me to make that image. It seems like a have always had a camera. My first camera was an old brownie my Grandfather gave me whe I was 5. In High school I took a few photography cl;asses and continued taking class when I went away to college. There I started photographing parties, banquets, sporting events, and portraits. After college I spent time doing freelance and working in a camera store. I did soem work for Rockpile magazine,...
