Description
This is the view from Meander Overlook in Dead Horse Point State Park, Utah. You are looking down at a gooseneck of the Colorado River, deep in the red rock walls of Canyonlands National park. The dirt road you see is Shafer Trail which you can reach from Hwy 313 or from Potash Road in Moab.

Stunning shot Nikolyn, reminds me of the Grand Canyon!vf
Nikolyn McDonald replied:
Truly an overlook that takes your breath away. And just a bit farther down the road, out on the point itself (this is kind of on the side of the point), there's another. This state park is right outside Canyonlands and well worth a detour. Thanks for the comment and support, Kathi.

Beautiful panorama Nikolyn. I have not been able to make it to Moab on my last trip; but it is a trip that is planned for next year (unless another spot on the planet moves up the list - LOL). Love the exposure and the composition.
Nikolyn McDonald replied:
Thank you very much, Hany. Honestly, the views were breathtaking, everywhere one looked.
