Fierce artwork! Item looked exactly as pictured and nothing was distorted. Very vibrant rich colors! I bought it as a birthday present for someone and they loved it! Only issue is it was so awesome I wanted to keep it for myself!

Although the edges of the design was a bit blurry it was still a really nice tote bag for the beach.

Good quality canvas, and the photos looks great.

I was very disappointed as the picture on the front of the bag has a black background but the lining on all of these bags is grey. It looks so dreadful I’m sure it even looks worse with a light or pastel coloured cover. As you use it this grey keeps showing giving it a cheap look. it would be so much better without lining if grey is the best you can do. Also the fabric is too soft and droops if the bag isn’t full. So you end up having a droopy bag with grey lining showing. It would be so much better to make this style in the fabric you use in the standard tote. It keeps its shape and the image on this fabric is much clearer. Also it doesn’t need to be lined.

Artist's Description

Medgar Evers, 1925-1963, was one of the first martyrs of the civil rights movement in the United States. He worked for the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP), and was the field secretary for his home state of Mississippi. During his lifetime the Mississippi in which he lived was a place of blatant discrimination where blacks dared not even speak of civil rights, much less actively campaign for them. But Evers dedicated his life to fighting this discrimination and hatred and in the end paid for his convictions with his life by becoming the first major civil rights leader to be assassinated in the 1960s. He was shot in the back on June 12, 1963 after he pulled into his driveway upon returning home late at night from a meeting. He was 37 years old. In the early 1960s white supremacists in the deep South had a death list for civil rights activists and Evers was high on their list. He and his family endured numerous threats and other violent acts, making the...

About Cora Wandel

I enjoy photography and writing, and sometimes think of myself as a photojournalist. If there is a story to be told with a photograph, I tell it. As a longtime resident of Washington, DC, a lot of my photographs are of this area, and I enjoy writing in the description something about the shot -- it could be a short statement about an equestrian statue in the middle of a park, or a more intimate tale of the mausoleum where Abraham Lincoln's son, Willie, was entombed for the remaining three years of Lincoln's presidency after the boy's death. These photographs are contained in the aptly named "Washington DC" Collection. In addition to "WDC" there are eight other Collections on this page, and two of my favorites are "Paintings" and...
