Description
The appearance of the locks as fortified dwellings of feudal lords, refers to Western European countries, to the reign of the Carolingian - royal dynasty, the most celebrated representative of which was the legendary Charlemagne. The easiest way to build castles in the mountains - they were and are difficult for the enemy, and the building material was always at hand. The earliest castles were a ring of walls built of large stone blocks and the surrounding mountains, on which stood the house itself.
