What beautiful dappled shadows - not easy to achieve so expertly. Love your use of greens also. Summer greens are always a challenge for me.

I love your dappled shading in this, and the subtle but lively greens. I think the summer greens in nature are the hardest thing to capture, and you've accomplished it beautifully.

Funny how this Rotunda, or bandshell as they are called where I live, evokes memories of Sundays past for me too Val. We have a mountain right in the center of Montreal,and there of course expansive park grounds surrounding it, with a bandshell such as this. You have done a lovely job creating lively yet subtle greenery, your signature beautiful foliage depicted here so exquisitively, I am certain that most everyone can and will relate to Memories like this one.
