Description

Our luxuriously soft beach towels are made from brushed microfiber with a 100% cotton back for extra absorption.   The top of the towel has the image printed on it, and the back is white cotton.   Our beach towels are available in two different sizes: beach towel (32" x 64") and beach sheet (37" x 74").

Don't let the fancy name confuse you... a beach sheet is just a large beach towel.

Care Instructions

Machine wash cold and tumble dry with low heat.

Amazing shot again..that is sad that vandals were disrespecting a war aircraft ..that is sacriledge! Great clouds background!

Beautiful it’s going to be a gift

Excellent print quality. I expected to lose some detail with it being printed on cloth. To my surprise, you could even make out the model's beautiful blue eyes. I would/have ordered again

Artist's Description

B17 Series Memphis Belle - Homecoming The Memphis Belle an early B17F, so named for the captain�s girlfriend, was one of the first B17s to complete 25 missions with the original crew. Delivered to RAF Bassingbourn, via Prestwick and RAF Kimbolton, on 14 October 1942 she started her operational career on 7th Nov 1942 with a sortie to Brest, Occupied France. During the next seven months the Memphis Belle flew 25 missions, all but six to French targets - the nominated crew flew no less than 29 ops during this with 25 aboard the Memphis Belle. On accomplishing the target number of operational sorties (25 at this time) the crew were decorated and the aircraft returned to the States in June 1943 to take part in a War Bond tour. At the end of the war, in an attempt to preserve the aircraft the city bought the airframe (for $350) - but failed to secure the aircraft from the ravages of weather and vandals. In 2003 the USAF Museum secured the remains and there is now in place a 1...

About Pat Speirs

Have been interested in photography since just after WW2, when film became freely available again, using Kodak Autographic equipment. Graduated, in the 50's, to 35mm and was involved in photographic work during my 17 yrs as RAF aircrew - navigator. Since retirement and migrating to Canon digital equipment have been involved with two of my sons and one grandson in a considerable amount of photographic activity, particularly composite images. Now producing digital art prints with the major emphasis on classic warbird aviation. With son, Duncan, now becoming a well-known and published wild life photographer we have started, in 2017, a new gallery reflecting Scottish sea birds - and 'feathered' flight
