Looking out my front door recently, I saw this amazing sight. The sun was starting to head westwards, leaving this beautiful glow on the cornfield. The corn had not been detasseled yet, and was shining in all its God given glory. Since the Midwest is the center of corn growth, the crops are not only golden from the tassels, but golden for the farmers who take such chances every year with their crops. They all must depend on rain, lack of it, the planting at strategic times and of course, the harvest.
