Another detail taken from the poster dress design that I designed in 1966 in bright colours, the design taken from nature, I used tree bark, branches and roots for this design of a mini dress taken from the tree in question with the model standing on a tree root this is done in a Mary Quant style of Carnaby Street type fashion of that era, it is my very own design. the hair is the on trend short haired style of that year with the curled up sides and layered fringe, the dress materials were to be of a fine jersey type fabric in natural fibres, I added drop earrings to this model my own design at the time in sparkling red glass beads, I did want to be a dress designer following in my mothers footsteps who worked in London before the war as a dress designer and model, somehow life got in the way.

I am an artist and photographer I studied art in both Liverpool and Southport, I have works in acrylics, pastel, pencil, pen, ceramics, watercolours and photography, my work varies from portraits to landscapes abstract and still life, in both art and photography. I also use mixed media mixing some of my hand painted and sketched art with digital media and I have floral works in photography and digital designs. I have had my works at many exhibitions and know some other artists. I live in Southport and most of my work is accomplished there. I also write poetry and illustrate them.
