Thank you Aline. I voted for your painting in the contest :)

I love all your works, but this one especially.

Ion it is not Mila Kunis, it is a friend of Shan Peck's, one of the artists on this website. He created a contest to paint one of his photographs, and this was one of them.

Thank you Mario for the compliment. And yes, brown eyed girl is a great song.

Or is it Mila Kunis? (if not, you should try that one too... great face, big dark eyes!) fav and v.

Wow 50 comments, I did not realize that. Don't worry about it Shan, all is good :)

I feel so guilty every time I read new comment, that this art work did not make in between first 3....well...Happy 50th. comment Veronica.

Oh thanks so much Mike. What a big complement! I am still working on developing a style. Experimenting. I have only done these portraits here so far, so I have to do more and hopefully find it......

Having commented on the delightful 'Emma' portrait, I have since read you love Renoir. This is no surprise. It seems to me that you convey something of the same gentleness and sincerity of expression in your portraiture, Veronica. He is incidentally my all-time favourite artist, though I love all the impressionists. Some dismiss his work as 'over-sentimental', but I have always believed his portraits have a depth and honesty that goes beyond the merely superficial.

Thank you Diana! :)
