Amazing photo! I was thrilled to buy cards with this image. I used it for Mother’s Day cards and thank you notes. All recipients were delighted with the image.

I bought notecards, so I don't really have a photo to upload, but thank you for having this particular image available! I have been looking for it for a number of years. The artist lost two sons in World War I. This was Pierre Teilhard de Chardin's favorite image of the Sacred Heart of Jesus . . . he gave a card of this image to a friend during World War II, and he had it on his desk when he died in New York City in 1955. If you have any knowledge of where the original painting is, I would love to know! I hope to go to France someday and would love to see the original painting.

But from Lost in Space to the Jetsons to Jurassic Park, it seems that popular culture craved and fomented this space-age perception of the future. Generations raised on these programs, movies, comic books, and novels are now grown and living in a future filled with mini vans, Starbucks,...
