Description
When the first rays of the sun hit the cool deep waters of the Old Fort Bayou River in Ocean Springs, Mississippi, steam rises off the water and glows in the sunlight. The river comes in from the Gulf of Mexico and is flanked on both sides by saltgrass bayou and then wetlands with pine trees and other types of trees that filter the bright sun. The far side of the river is thick with huge bushy trees that enclose the river to make it a pastoral getaway. This peaceful scene speaks of the special beauty of the Deep South.
