This looks gorgeous printed on wood. It is now hanging on my therapy office wall and is perfect. The color is true to the photo. I love it.

Very pleased with the image, color, printing . My selection of printing onto wood is great for this image. There are a few mildly dark lines which are natural to wood. They show through the image and contribute to the image--glad that none of these was over the face of the horse rider.

About James Temple
I've lived in Hawaii since 2002, 1200 feet above sea level, on the small rural island of Moloka'i. It is very quiet here, with only about 7,400 residents. I appreciate the quiet life after spending 35 years as a commercial illustrator, senior art director and design director for major advertising agencies and design studios in Chicago, San Francisco and Palo Alto California. I've always loved cooking. In 2002 that love led me to a degree in the Culinary Arts just before moving to Hawaii. Since then I designed and built a house, worked in local restaurants, self-published three cookbooks, and took up photography as a hobby. Now retired, I spend most of my time developing recipes and photographing them, plus researching and writing...

I miss those so much -- they have the best flavor of all of the sweet potato varieties. They were always a Thanksgiving favorite year after year. They beauty is the flavor spoke for itself so you didn't need to add a bunch of brown sugar or anything else to make them delicious. Featured in Hawaiiana. Aloha nui, James!!

Hi Pat, yes they taste similar to yams or regular orange sweet potatoes but these purple sweet potatoes are much better for you in that they have three times the antioxidants of the orange ones. Antioxidants are vitamins and minerals that strengthen your immune system which in turn, wards off infections like colds and flu. So not only do you get a great tasting food product but you feel better on top of it. The three major antioxidant vitamins are beta-carotene, vitamin C, and vitamin E. You’ll find them in colorful fruits and vegetables – especially those with purple, blue, red, orange, and yellow hues. To get the biggest benefits of antioxidants, eat these foods raw or lightly steamed; don’t overcook or boil. Now you know!

Purple potatoes - do they taste like regular potatoes?
