Pretty awesome

Lisa is a great artist, somewhat in the mode of Grandma Moses.. She is good at depicting a very busy scene in a folksy manner.. The little dachshunds in the foreground sealed the deal because we own one,, Thanks again

Cheap, cheap, cheap. Cheap quality, not price.

The material was sent in a bag and was extremely creased

I am the artist who ordered these items. I was disappointed with the fleece blankets. The image printed crooked on 4 of the 5 blankets and the 'plush fleece' is very different from the plush fleece blankets I ordered previously. No where near as 'plush'. These blankets were unsellable. Also, one of the tapestries showed up with a thread that was pressed right into the fabric which made it unsellable as well. The reason I didn't ship these items back was due to the fact that by the time I received the order, there was insufficient time to return the order in time to meet the '30 day' from the date ordered deadline. This is the first time I've been disappointed with an order featuring my art by way of FAA. Sadly, it makes me hesitant to order again.

Artist's Description

Freshly molted Cicada resting on nymph Case while wings expand and harden. The cicadas are a superfamily, the Cicadoidea, of insects in the order Hemiptera (true bugs). Cicadas have prominent eyes set wide apart, short antennae, and membranous front wings. They have an exceptionally loud song, produced not by stridulation but by vibrating drumlike tymbals rapidly. The earliest known fossil Cicadomorpha appeared in the Upper Permian period; extant species occur all around the world in temperate to tropical climates. They typically live in trees, feeding on sap, and laying their eggs in a slit in the bark. Most cicadas are cryptic, singing at night to avoid predators. The periodic cicadas spend most of their lives as underground nymphs, emerging only after 13 or 17 years, most likely to reduce losses by satiating their predators. Most of the North American species are in the genus Neotibicen: the annual or jar fly or dog-day cicadas (so named because they emerge in late July and Augu...

About Judy Whitton

I am a self taught photographer and a native of Fort Wayne, Indiana. My love of photography started out in the late 60's when I was given a box camera to use. Back then the rolls of film I was given to use were few and far between. So, that taught me to be very selective about what I took photos of. Somewhere along the line I was given a 110mm instamatic camera and didn't buy my first and only 35mm camera, a Nikon EM, in the early 80's. In 2002 at a family reunion, my uncle was showing me his digital camera. I was totally fascinated at the idea of being able to take as many photos as I wanted without having to buy film or have it developed. Shortly afterwards, I bought my first digital camera, the Sony Mavica CD400. I used...
