Besides being a beautiful beach with interesting rock architecture, Natural Bridges State Beach in Santa Cruz, CA is known for its winter migratory population of Monarch Butterflies. The butterflies arrive in October and stay through February, filling the eucalyptus trees with their bright orange wings. It is a sight to behold!

Painfully shy as a child, Jen was unable to communicate with anyone outside her family except through drawing.
