This is, basically, the photo that made us want to go there. We finally did. Although we have many lovely photos from our own trip, lack of a helicopter caused us not to get this one. So when we decided to adorn the walls of our new house w some Lake Louise pix I went looking online and found this. Something struck me about it, though...the glacier is dirty. Must have been taken during the few weeks that there isn't snow every day. The glacier was sparkling white when we were there (June) because almost every day it got a fresh coat of snow. Dirt aside, looks great and we love it.

I absolutely love this print. Unfortunately the blemishes from the technique or originally on the metal do create a distraction from the piece. I positively disagree with vendor’s statement that it’s part of the process and not to be considered a flaw...baloney!!! I have other metal prints that have no flaws. I will give them credit for trying to resolve the issue with 3 attempts with the print but each arrived with flaws. However, I am keeping it because I love this print so much and I will live with it.

Beautiful, vivid colors, just as advertised. Looks great in our newly renovated basement/pool room. Excellent quality, would highly recommend this purchase.

In 1951 he joined the Naval Air Force where he spent four years serving on numerous Naval bases and aircraft carriers as an aviation mechanic. It was only after this laborious process of working with his hands that he became interested in painting. His introduction to paint brushes, palate knives, and the techniques of applying oil came when the Hartford YMCA sponsored a ten week art class. It was only after six of those classes that he felt confident enough to begin painting on his own volition. After many years of experimenting with different...
