About Christy Gendalia
My name is Christy and I have two passions in life: Photography and Travel. I decided that since I enjoy both so much - I should combine the two and share my experiences with others...through the lens of my camera. At a young age, I studied Photography at SUNY Purchase in NY and used my knowledge to create a portfolio of pictures taken throughout my life. I have done quite a bit of portrait photography, some wedding photography and landscapes. I look forward to sharing my photos with you and I hope that, if you like them, you will consider purchasing my work. I thank you for taking the time to look at my galleries. I hope you enjoy viewing my pictures as much as I enjoyed taking them!

Thanks, David. It is a shame for your family to have lost their home to a hurricane. Glad this picture brings back happier memories!

Christy-- Long, long ago, say in the '50's, my aunt and uncle lived in Montauk, ever so close to this lighthouse. I loved to visit it. Unfortunately, their cottage got swept out to see in a hurricane (Diana?) and they had to move to what were then the potato fields of East Hampton. So nice to see this and such a good shot! L
