While heading out of Montauk Point on a nice clear fall day for some sea bass fishing the captain of the Caprice opened up the engines full throttle even though the water was not exactly calm in an effort to get to the fishing grounds quickly and cash in on the hot fishing reports that had been going around. As we began to pick up speed the ocean waves and the boat started to hit each other hard causing these tremendous ocean sprays that were wetting down the whole charter boat. As everyone ran into the large cabin to stay dry and grab a secure seat, I grabbed my camera and waited for the right opportunity to get out by the back of the boat to capture the remarkable action that was going on only a few feet from me. I wrapped my camera in a bunch of plastic and ran to the back right side of the boat. I immediately began to take as many photos as I could of this scene of our charter boat crashing through the waves of the Atlantic...
