Right at the foot of the world-famous Fisherman’s Wharf in Monterrey, California you can look over at pleasure boat harbor and sees all the beautiful sailboats as well as a huge collection of yachts of all sizes and classes.
Fisherman’s Wharf, of course, is home to some of the best seafood restaurants and gift shops on the entire Monterey Peninsula. It is also one of several docks where the working fishing fleet ties up their boats.
You can actually watch the fresh catch of the day being unloading at the back doors of some of the eating establishments actually owned by the same people that own the fishing boats.
Now that is what you call fresh fish!
