I have to say I am a bit disappointed for the first time with fineartamerica. The sweatshirt came in today and the quality is not to the level I was expecting: The fabric is much lighter than it is on the website. It is almost a light grey. The quality of the fabric is also not that good.

This is known as 'Sleeping Ute Mountain'. It is located outside Mesa Verde National Park in Cortez, Colorado. Ute Indian holds some amazing folklore about these peaks. They were hunters and gatherers who lived nomadically throughout the geographic area we now know as the Four Corner states: Colorado, Utah, New Mexico, and Arizona. These people are the Ute Mountain Tribe. As a matter of fact, the state of Utah gets its name from these people. Those mountains across the valley are the Sleeping Ute Mountain range. The Sleeping Ute Mountain once spoke to Chief Ouray, leader of the Ute Mountain Tribe. You know me as the Sleeping Ute Mountain, Chief. You and your people, along with other living creatures, reside on my slopes. Well, in the very old days there were Evil Ones causing much trouble. Janice Rae Pariza was born in Youngstown, Ohio in 1955 and raised in Ohio, Florida, New York, Pennsylvania, Nova Scotia and Connecticut. She has been painting since the age of eight.
