I took this digital photograph of the so-called "super moon." It was shot through a neighbor's tree. The original photo was not very remarkable. However, I edited it several times to get this eerie, haunting effect. It could be a reflection on water or another world.

I am a self-taught artist and have been painting in oils for many years. At the same time my photography has developed following the same principles of composition and color. Much of my work has a "save the environment" theme and my inspiration comes from nature and visions of light and color. My interest in art began in the 5th grade with a remarkable teacher who, along with all the other subjects, made time for art and music every day.
