This was created in the studio, using oil pastels, using an original plein air of the same scene. I have created 3 large paintings using these oil sticks...and as The Raven said: "NEVER MORE". My commitment to anything, is that I finish it. And this almost broke my pledge...it takes SO LONG using a point that is about 1/4" wide...to do a 30x40 painting...and there are more than one merely stroke for any inch you view!
