My husband and I had a lovely trip to Paris and southern France last July. While on a bus trip we were able to take a photo of this cafe that we share a name with. Our photo was a little blurry and not good for enlargement. Your wonderful photo now hangs in our own kitchen as a nice reminder of that trip. It is beautiful and of very good quality. We love it. Thank you Mary Flore

Beautiful picture. Grew up on northshore so wanted something from there. Metal picture really shows the colors and picture quality is very clear.

This is one of three pieces that I am adding to my collection. Once I have received the other two pieces I will be happy to provide a photograph of the display. The quality of the art piece is exceptional. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase even more pieces!

The Summons
Awake, but why?
Long day, bones aching,
I'd fallen asleep early - not my usual habit -
and now snapped to attention by what?
Lying wideeyed, waiting,
looking out the naked window at the stars.
And then it came, the summons - soft but clear,
swirling round me, almost palpable,
a scarf of melody.
I rose, went to the window, saw the moon;
round and ripe it was,
with an army of attendant stars veiled in cloud chiffon
singing a sweetly silver song.
"Come," they called. "We wait for you."
And so I dressed and went downstairs
and stepped outside, but not into the dark familiar.
Instead there stretched a walkway, rustic wood,
winding its way across low hills of springtime flowers,
enclosed so there could be no deviation.
The moonlight lit the landscape like a floodlight;
I could see no danger there.
And now I'...
About RC DeWinter
Hello and welcome to my portfolio on Pixels/Fine Art America. One of my major artistic goals, with appropriate images, is to create digital paintings that you wouldn't know were digital unless I told you. If I could paint in oils I would...alas my eyes don't work with my hand, so I create most of my art from photographs that I re-imagine. Few of my digital paintings resemble the original photographs very much when I am finished with my vision. Of course I also create work that is clearly digital as well. Here's a bit about me: RC...
