A country home on a cold, cold winter night, with the moon just breaking through the clouds and its bright yellow glow reflected on the snow, and in the water. The artist captured the true feeling of the Moonlit snow scape on a cold winter night in acrylic paint. It almost looks as though you can walk into the three-dimensional effect of the picture.
I grew up on a farm, south of Doniphan Missouri. We had to work to make a living. And we did a little bit of everything on the farm, from planting garden to picking cotton. We canned our own food, had cattle for meat and milk. We had hunting dogs, and lots of cats to catch mice and rats. But we did not work all the time. We had time to run and play, swim in the creeks, build tree houses, make up stories, learn to sew, and lots of other things.
