Gene, what a delight it is to visit your site. I could spend hours here. This is a fabulous capture. Love your wildlife images. It is great to know that you are adventurous and out there in the midst of it all taking awesome photos. Another fave. LF

Gene Praag replied:

Thank you Anne...This year the moose are out there. Some years you just don't see them. Today we went to do pregnancy photos of my daughter in law and it was quite the adventure. I heard the breaking branches. My son and daughter in law did not here them.(I think after all the years of hiking, I know what to listen for) So anyway out of the thick brush came two female moose hauling butt. About a minute after that the bull moose made his appearance. He was in a full run after the females. They made it to a pond and played in the pond for a bit. I got photos but unfortunately they are not very good because it was straight into the sun. We finished getting the portraits and seen another 4 moose before the day was over. You know where I will be on my next day off...LOL

Hi Gene~~an excellent image of the moose in the beautiful sunlit foliage- terrific wildlife photography!! F&L&Pin!

Gene Praag replied:

Thank you Will. I love going to the mountains as much as I like hanging out in the desert. This time of year you usually start seeing more of the wildlife.

How close were you?

Gene Praag replied:

About 60-70 feet. Hid behind two great big pine trees. And he still seen me.
