This piece was my entry for Artprize 2013 held in Grand Rapids, Michigan every year in September. It is one of the largest art show/competitions in the world. This piece is for sale. I am asking $5,000 for the original which is 7 feet by 9 feet 8 inches. It is in nine separate panels of watercolor paper stretched around 2 inch foamboard. It also has 2 layers of acrylic varnish for protection on it. It is very lightweight and weighs 70 lbs total. If interested and have questions, e-mail me at ljsowa@hotmail.com

"LeAnne Sowa - Watercolorist/ Fine Artist" LeAnne (Mawby) Sowa is a Western Michigan fine artist who moved to Arizona in December of 2021. At an early age she discovered her passion for art. Every chance she had she would be drawing in a sketch pad or on a piece of paper. Her favorite mediums soon became watercolor, graphite pencil and Pen and Ink. To hone her skills, LeAnne took every drawing class in high school including mechanical drafting. Later studies included painting classes with Nancy Fox at Montcalm Community College, classes at the Fransican Center under June Berte, Cheri Den Boer and Linda Baker.
