Well done piece of artwork. Just what I wanted. Prompt service.

It is beautiful. I am giving it as a Christmas gift to my sister. She has MS and is bedridden in a nursing home but has always loved hummingbirds. She will love it.

very happy with purchase

I tried, already, to review this product, but nothing happened; so this is my second try. The quality of the print reproduction is excellent and I would have given this product 5 stars except for the fact that there are ugly brown lines on the top of the canvas that can be seen when this canvas print is hanging on the wall (see attached photo).

A stunning window into a world of intense color and movement.

Artist's Description

Originally a Norman castle owned by the Toret family, Moreton Corbet was rebuilt as an Elizabethan mansion by their descendant Sir Andrew Corbet and his sons, Richard and Vincent. During the English Civil War, Moreton Castle was used as part of Royalist Shrewsbury's defence. The castle was under siege on more than one occasion, and badly damaged in the fighting. At one time, the castle was captured by just ten parliamentary troops. It was finally taken from what amounted to a 'home guard' force by a crack Parliamentarian regiment. The building was burned down by the Parliamentarians as they left and has remained as this spectacular ruin ever since. It is still owned by the Corbet family but is managed by English Heritage and can be visited at anytime for free.

About Simon Cartlidge

Simon Cartlidge is a poet, historian and artist from Shropshire in England. In the true spirit of iPhoneography, most of his pictures are taken as nature dictates on walks with his trusty springer spaniel, Max, armed only with an iPhone. With all his editing done in the palm of his hand, Simon's images show the raw beauty of the world surrounding one man and his dog.
