Good quality canvas, and the photos looks great.

I was very disappointed as the picture on the front of the bag has a black background but the lining on all of these bags is grey. It looks so dreadful I’m sure it even looks worse with a light or pastel coloured cover. As you use it this grey keeps showing giving it a cheap look. it would be so much better without lining if grey is the best you can do. Also the fabric is too soft and droops if the bag isn’t full. So you end up having a droopy bag with grey lining showing. It would be so much better to make this style in the fabric you use in the standard tote. It keeps its shape and the image on this fabric is much clearer. Also it doesn’t need to be lined.

Love this tote, very large and rugged for me to carry books in. Adorable illustration from a gourmet magazine cover. High quality.

Beautiful.

Artist's Description

Between Old Horticulture and Student Services is a peaceful garden and fountain that when we first moved to town hosted the gardens that now are the Horticultural Demonstration Gardens. Nevertheless what remains in the older part of campus is a quiet in the midst of a very busy part of the old Michigan State University campus. This garden begs one to sit and stay just to absorb the light, sounds, and color.

About Joseph Yarbrough

My subjects are both natural and architectural. I am interested in textures and shapes and how light and shadow play on those objects often creating new ones. I use a Nikon D-100. a Sony Cyber-shot DSC-W300, and an iPhone 4s. I make every effort to compose in the camera and thus I crop infrequently. I use Aperture and Photoshop to work with highlights & shadows which often brings out the elements in a photograph for which I have primary interest. I have no hesitation using any other tool if the results make the photograph work. My preference is to do nothing to a photograph presenting it as it was taken. My web site is named light & shadows because both light and shadows are the visual elements which hold the most fascination for me....
