This beautiful watercolor of Frederick Douglas made the perfect shirt for my five-year-old to celebrate Black History month at school. Although his preschool didn’t have anything special planned, we wanted to celebrate somehow. This gorgeous shirt was the perfect way to show our appreciation and admiration of an outstanding Black American.

Athlone is a charming town in the center of Ireland on the River Shannon. You cannot miss this brightly colored restaurant when walking about town! It is such a brilliant shade of red/orange. And it's corner location near the castle and the River Shannon doesn't hurt, either.
I love to photograph the world that I live in...be it at home in my own backyard or during my travels. I also enjoy manipulating photographs to create works of art that allow me to share memories of places I have been.
