The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The wooden frame includes a hanging wire for easy mounting on your wall (see photo on the left).

Mt Fitzroy (3405m / 11,170ft) is called "El Chalten" or "Mountain of Fire" in the local indigenous Tehuelche language, which is exactly the effect the rising sun causes as it catches the awesome granite rock walls on a clear morning. A spectacular sight and well worth the pre dawn hike up to a suitable viewpoint......! The peak is one of the highlights of the Los Glaciares National Park, which was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1981.
The peak in the centre is Aguja (or "Needle") Poincenot, named after the the French climber Jacques Poincenot who died during the expedition which made the first ascent of the peak in 1952. The peak of the far left is Aguja Saint-Exupéry, named after the famous French writer, poet and pilot Antoine de Saint-Exupéry. Saint-Exupéry was also the founder of the airmail airline Aeroposta Argentina, one of the first such services in South America.
