If someone happens to have a NEAT BUTTERFLY image, You can contact Susan Billetdeaux at or Norman Winter at They are at the NABA BUTTERFLY CENTER at Mission, Texas. 956-583-5400. I sent the image to Norman yesterday.

That's all so interesting Roena - I see banded birds occasionally (usually white pelicans) but didn't think it was important because I can't read the band unless they are found dead. Haven't seen any colored bands. Let us know when this is actually posted to their online magazine - thanks Roena November 17th, 2011

Sorry ROBERT F. but I can not read this comment of 3 days ago. Believe it or not I CAN STILL FIND PLACES where no phone service or internet service is available! I have been out of service since last Friday. So, could you please send this note to me again?

Thank you EVERYONE for leaving me a comment. I have some pretty exciting NEWS about this image. I contacted the National Butterfly Center here in Mission, TX and am sending this image to the head naturalist who will say what kind of "bugs" they are and post for everyone to see on their - facebook page for the world to enjoy! How cool is that. Also, I have in my images 3 different birds that have been banded and I have discovered how to report them as well. Piping Plovers are endangered I think. "Researchers investigating bird movements and populations use colored bands and flags to give individual birds an identity and to make them visible to people who watch birds. You can help these researchers by taking good notes on any color banded birds you see. These notes should include the species of bird, color and order of the bands on each leg and where the bird was seen. For example Piping Plover: right leg red over blue, left leg green flag, Bolivar Flats Shorebird Sanctuary. Color banded birds should be reported to the US Bird Banding Laboratory by calling 1-800-327-Band (2263) or on their web page. Sometimes it is possible to report the sighting directly to the researcher who banded the bird. If you find a bird with a numbered aluminum band you should also report that to the Bird Banding Lab. Banded Shorebirds: Online report forms on the website"

I never received my order, or even a shipping notification. I will have to dispute the charge soon, although I'd still rather have the item. :)

I would love to provide a picture of this product, unfortunately I can't because it never shipped to me and no one at Pixels has been interested in discussing this situation with me despite multiple emails asking for an update.

Worst experience ever. Ordered on 16/08/2017 and estimated ship date was 21/08/2017, it's 06/09/2017 now and there is still no info when item will be shipped. Tried to contact twice via contact form, no answer. Charger supposed to be gift for my father's birthday on 09/09/2017 but you managed to ruin it. Since I tried to contact You via contact form, and got no result. I hope that you'll read this comment and return me my money, since you failed to deliver product which is now useless to me because you weren't able to provide any info for couple of weeks

I bought this for my sister who is graduating soon. She spends a lot of time on her cell phone, and I thought this would be a personal and usefu giftl. The image is a bit dark but over all nice quality. The charger came with some charge (blue light came on). It looks easy to use, and I'm eager to see how my sister likes it!

Artist's Description

I was so excited when I realized what was going on in this image. I blew it up to be sure I was seeing the stomach of the butterfly when I realized it was not moving. The feeding tube is twisted around a part of the flower and it is just hanging there. Then I noticed the ugly bug on top of the flower eating. I feel sure this is one in a thousand capture. WOW. Ro
