The dune system NaNa, is a protected landmark located in American Beach, an African-America community near Fernandina Beach, Amelia Island, northeast of Jacksonville, FL. This 60-ft dune�s protection is due largely to the efforts of MaVynne Betsch (1935-2005), the �Beach Lady�, an international opera singer who spent her final years advocating for the environment.
