The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The wooden frame includes a hanging wire for easy mounting on your wall (see photo on the left).

My husband and I had a lovely trip to Paris and southern France last July. While on a bus trip we were able to take a photo of this cafe that we share a name with. Our photo was a little blurry and not good for enlargement. Your wonderful photo now hangs in our own kitchen as a nice reminder of that trip. It is beautiful and of very good quality. We love it. Silicon nanowires grown on a patterned substrate - a model system of different materials nanowire growth that will be used as advanced media for photovoltaics and energy storage applications. Functionalized Si nanowires have been also explored in cancer research to immobilize and separate cancerous cells. A nanowire is a nanostructure, with the diameter of the order of a nanometer. It can also be defined as the ratio of the length to width being greater than 1000. Alternatively, nanowires can be defined as structures that have a thickness or diameter constrained to tens of nanometers or less and an unconstrained length. Nanotechnology (nanotech) is the manipulation of matter on an atomic, molecular, and supramolecular scale.
