Congratulations for having this great piece of artwork chosen to be featured in our Wisconsin Flowers and Scenery group. I am proud to be able to support and promote all artists within our group. I very much enjoyed viewing the masterfully done piece from you portfolio to show off to all other artists and to attract perspective buyers. Thanks for sharing your beautiful artwork with all FAA members. Well worthy of this recognition.

Tapestry Reviews (2)

Average Rating (3.50 Stars):

I am the artist who ordered these items. I was disappointed with the fleece blankets. The image printed crooked on 4 of the 5 blankets and the 'plush fleece' is very different from the plush fleece blankets I ordered previously. No where near as 'plush'. These blankets were unsellable. Also, one of the tapestries showed up with a thread that was pressed right into the fabric which made it unsellable as well. The reason I didn't ship these items back was due to the fact that by the time I received the order, there was insufficient time to return the order in time to meet the '30 day' from the date ordered deadline. This is the first time I've been disappointed with an order featuring my art by way of FAA. Sadly, it makes me hesitant to order again.

Artist's Description

Narcissus Fortissimo is one of the largest flowers in the daffodil family with huge 5 inch blooms. Narcissus is a genus of predominantly spring perennial plants in the Amaryllidaceae (amaryllis) family. Various common names including daffodil, daffadowndilly, narcissus, and jonquil are used to describe all or some members of the genus. Narcissus has conspicuous flowers with six petal-like tepals surmounted by a cup- or trumpet-shaped corona. The flowers are generally white or yellow (orange or pink in garden varieties), with either uniform or contrasting colored tepals and corona. The species are native to meadows and woods in southwest Europe and North Africa with a center of diversity in the Western Mediterranean, particularly the Iberian peninsula. Both wild and cultivated plants have naturalized widely, and were introduced into the Far East prior to the tenth century. Narcissus tend to be long-lived bulbs, which propagate by division, but are also insect-pollinated. Known pests,...

About Judy Whitton

I am a self taught photographer and a native of Fort Wayne, Indiana. My love of photography started out in the late 60's when I was given a box camera to use. Back then the rolls of film I was given to use were few and far between. So, that taught me to be very selective about what I took photos of. Somewhere along the line I was given a 110mm instamatic camera and didn't buy my first and only 35mm camera, a Nikon EM, in the early 80's. In 2002 at a family reunion, my uncle was showing me his digital camera. I was totally fascinated at the idea of being able to take as many photos as I wanted without having to buy film or have it developed. Shortly afterwards, I bought my first digital camera, the Sony Mavica CD400. I used...
