I live in Northwest Washington State, a very beautiful part of the U.S... I am a full time musician, and started painting a few months ago when my wife bought me an acrylic paint set for Christmas(2008). I paint because I love it, and I like the place I mentally go when I do it. For better or worse, I have never taken an art class, and there is no famous artist that has influenced my direction (that I conscientiously know of). I basically paint what I like, or feel in the mood to do.
