Description
Naturally Gnarled Nature by Debra Martz
While taking a break in the picnic area of the Aransas National Wildlife Refuge I was mesmerized by the number of trees that were twisted in all directions. This is but one group of them.

In addition to the banner, I am adding this more permanent recognition of its FEATURE on the homepage of A TREE OR TREES IN BLACK AND WHITE. I try mightily to feature only images that would be at home in a juried competition. No doubt that this image fits that bill. CONGRATULATIONS! And consider adding your image to DISCUSSIONS "Please post your featured photograph here" for greater, long-lasting visibility.

Congrats on you many features of this wonderful nature image. Your choice of using b&w works very well with it too.

What's not to love about a great gnarly tree? I'm always drawn to these beauties. Love the inherent movement in the curvy lines.
