I adore Navy Pier, and have gone there dozens of times. To be on the lake in the summer is heaven. The assortment of restaurants, especially Riva's, as well as the boat tours make it my favorite place in Chicago. I combined fantasy and bold color to paint this piece. This delightfully whimsical skyline creates a warmth and brilliance that is a very engaging presence.

If you are visiting Chicago and not going to Navy Pier than you are loosing the major attraction in Chicago, it is on the banks of Lake Michigan. It offers various water cruises ranging from sailing ship and has a largest Ferris wheel which can show you the sky view of Chicago skyline.
