Description
Upper Michigan is one of my favorite summer places to spend time with my wife and dogs, paint, hike about. We've had a cabin in our family in the Marquette area for close to 50 years.
One of my favored painting places are the shores of Lake Superior, and Marquette has wonderful rocky, sandy beach areas, and on this particular day I set my portable easel up in the shade of a very large rock face. The water, the rocks all very spectacular
