The village has been an important town since medieval times, with an interesting castle of which today remain just few traces of is walls. It is famous for is ravine that with water gorges and cliffs drives the waters oft he Nos� stream into the lake.

It is about halfway between the towns of Como and Bellagio.

This painting was completed in 2009.

This is Teresa Dominici, my paintings are inspired by my love and the beauty of the landscape around the world. Through my travels I visited so many incredibly beautiful places and if I can capture those moments where I was, and make a lasting impression on canvas, then I have succeed in sharing an amazing thing.
