The beach towel is really just for laying on inasmuch as it is too big and heavy to put around your body, which is just fine. The artwork in it is beautiful. I can't wait to use it.

Wow - I didn't realise it was going to be that big! It's a gift for a young member of the family - I think he'll be thrilled as he's a tractor fanatic at 6 years old. A practical gift too. The towel has a smoother upper side so it'll be more comfortable to sit on at the beach. It seems to have a thick absorbent power so no usual skinny beach towel.

This partially restored 1875 Currier & Ives map of New York City and Brooklyn displays the late-nineteenth century growth of New York City and Brooklyn. Notable across the skyline are steeples of historic churches, many of which remain today though visually obscured by modern skyscrapers. The expansive view encompasses Long Island City, Harlem, Hoboken and Staten Island. Fort Hamilton sits in the harbor. Central Park is clearly visible--the landscape design work of Frederick Law Olmsted and Calvert Vaux completed just two years prior (1873) to this map. Looming above the surroundings is yet-to-be-completed Brooklyn Bridge. Construction on the bridge began in 1870; the bridge opened in 1883. This Currier and Ives 1875 map displays a completed bridge--it was not uncommon for maps of this type to display soon-to-be completed or proposed construction projects. The numerous ships in the harbor, East River and Hudson River bears witness to NYC's importance as a center of trade, comme...

His love for photography began with a Kodak Instamatic 104 and a handful of GE flash cubes. His images appear in publications and Hollywood productions and hang on the walls of businesses, homes, and high-end hotels. Stephen operates Stephen Stookey Photography, an online print on demand business. Thank you for taking time to view my portfolio.
