This painting began as a long horn, Averi wasn't feeling it and the next thing she knew, it was a beautiful night sky and this teepee fit right in, her love for Montana + color shows through nearly everything she paints. Completed March 2020 (During Covid Quarantine) Averi just turned 15.
About Averi Iris
Averi Iris Smith is a Montana native, a self taught teen artist, and athlete living in Bozeman Montana, attending her senior year of high school. As many kids do, Averi loved to paint as a young child, the only difference is she never stopped loving it. When she was 10 she sold her first piece but it wasn't until the summer before freshman year that she found her style. It continues to develop and change with each piece but her signature pop of color mixed with realistic tones has continued to be her trademark.With encouragement of her family and plenty of supplies, Averi fully embraced her passion and has been selling her paintings ever since.
