Portraits without people really suck.
Once upon a time this was the back of a hotel. Nowadays I've no idea what it's the back of. What I do know, however, is that I've not been travelling through the better parts of Napanee lately, because the batteries of my scooter won't go that far. Oh well.

I used to make my living as a cinematographer and then a stroke put an end to that career. However still-photography is something I can yet do and I'm having the time of my life with it. The nice thing about working as a "fine art" photographer is that there are no producers, agencies, directors, clients, or other committee members dictating how and what I should shoot or do. The only people I have to please are you and me. Very recently I learned to my chagrin that there were still one or two people who did have influence over what I could/should do or not do.
