I love this photo and agree that the drive was worh it. I am trying to generate an interest in Covered Bridges on FAA and wold like to invite you to join my new covered bridges group

Methune Hively replied:

Thanks Charles, I'll check it out.

Covered bridges are neat. There is one in Yosemite at Wawona. This is a beautiful photo of this one.

Methune Hively replied:

Thank you Chris! My husband grumbled the whole way to the bridge. But I think the drive was worth it.

I am not happy with this ... the picture is not totally there . much of it is cut off. I need to reorder this

Very unhappy. The picture is blown up too big making it very fuzzy. Quebec is cut off a bit too much, so you cannot tell it says "Quebec." Buyer Beware: the return policy is 30 days from PURCHASE, not receipt. If you miss the window, (I missed the 30 cutoff by 3 days) they are not willing to work with you on this. Customer Service is LOUSY!!!

Artist's Description

A side view of the North Forks Yachats Bridge, Lincoln County, Oregon. I think not many people get to see this peaceful place in the country. The average tourist probably wouldn't want to drive the 8.5 miles off the main road to get to it. The bridge was built in 1938 & is a short 42 ft. in length.

About Methune Hively

My chosen medium is digital. I am a self-taught artist that began sketching and painting at a very early age. Pencil drawing and oil painting were my favorites. The world of computers has allowed me to expand my creativity and explore new styles and approaches to my work. That does not mean that the computer is creating the artwork. I spend many, many hours on each painting to get the final results you see here. The computer is just another artist's tool that I have adopted. I have very eclectic tastes and like to try new methods. You will find drawings, watercolors, oils, fractals and 3d styles in my portfolio. But remember, all were created digitally, whether stated or not. My inspirations come from everyday life, movies, TV,...
