I took a trip down the Danube in the summer of 2016. In the morning, I went out and explored, and in the afternoon, I sketched what I had seen that day. This was the first stop on our trip: Nuremberg.

�Color and texture are hugely important in my work. Applied appropriately, they can actually elicit a visceral response from the viewer,� says Emily Page, a California-born, Virginia-raised artist.
